    Posted 11 days ago

    Hi everyone,

We are thinking a good topic this coming year for 2027 would be a panel discussion of tips and tricks for setting up a good system.

We would love to have a panel to include the below software:

    1. Stratacore
    2. iLab
    3. Home grown
    4. NU Core?
    5. Priority

If i am forgetting another one let me know.

If you would be interested in being part of the panel please let me know!! FREE REGISTRATION! :)

    Hi Meghan,

I work closely with Julie Auger at the Salk Institute, and as long time users of Stratocore I would be happy to join the panel.

    Hi Meghan,

I'm happy to talk about iLab. UMaine has used iLab since 2019 (I believe).

Sapio, Agilent SLIMS and Lockbox are few more I can think of. We are in the process of switching from custom to Sapio. I am open to discussing this process for ABRf 2027. For Lockbox, I would recommend Claire Bailey Hartman at Harvard.

I won't be at the meeting next year 😭 but I have a colleague who can talk about BookItLab! She's tried other platforms but BookIt has worked best for our little core group so she can talk about that process too!

Hello! if you need another iLab end-user at the core director level, I am happy to join the panel. I've used iLab for the past 10 years as part of the first wave of cores at my institution, for a very large (hundreds of users) and very small core with a range of equipment rental/hourly use and full service, project based options.

    Meghan,

We use Priority at Syracuse University and are quite happy with this system.

I would be happy to share how this system works for our cores.
