    Raj,

We just resent the calendar invitation.  We recently learned that one of the group email addresses, can@abrf.memberclicks.net, is not compatible with some email systems, and results in the calendar messages not being delivered, or being deleted.

Going forward, we'll use the CAN Community email group address, ABRF-coreadministratorsnetworkcoordinatingcommitteecancc@ConnectedCommunity.org for nearly all messages.  For calendar invitations, we'll use the set of individual email addresses.

    I'm sorry for the confusion.

    Ken

    Gordon,

Everyone should have received a new invitation ending with "Version 3".....let me know if you don't see that one......

    Very odd.....

Hello Everyone – looking forward to the meeting on thursday. Please let me know if you have any agenda items.

In the last meeting, we discussed about having a framework to evaluate Shared resource programs -  I uploaded link to FASEB recommendation to CAN community, to be considered as a starting point. Please take a look if you haven't already so that we can discuss/prioritize aspects of FASEB report to start building a framework.

Here is the link to the posting :

Everyone – Thank you for attending the meeting today. To summarize, today we discussed handling the core revenue/surplus, review of uniform guidance (potentially both topics will be part of  sessions in next year's meeting. Did Nicole agree to do a poster on the core revenue/surplus question?).

Then we moved on to FASEB recommendation and focused on item 3 (core management and evaluation). The next step is create a questionnaire/sections document on the topic.

I created a shared folder for us to upload whatever relevant documents/info that we currently use for our cores - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BAIgno4duhoGg71GOgZ0VSbMmAzd9_7e?usp=sharing

    To do before next meeting:

    1. Upload any materials you may have that is relevant to the topic above to the folder.
    2. Review the shared google folder (https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0ABYkdiTpOJHjUk9PVA) to see what existing documents/materials might be helpful to us.

Hopefully, in the next meeting we can hopefully identify specific sections and assign specific topics to each.

    Thanks

    Raj

    I have uploaded:

    1) An abridged pdf of our user survey tool.  The full length tool calls out each of our ~30 cores individually and asks the same standardized questions. The survey is sent to all research-intensive faculty, staff and students Dec 1st and is open through Jan 15th.  The feedback for a given core is compiled and sent around the end of January.

    2) A copy of last year's core report template.  We ask each core to compile a document that covers the content in the template for the previous calendar year.  Most cores maintain a living document version of this deliverable and update annually.  The report is delivered to the institution in Feb/March each year and discussed at the evaluation meeting along with their budgetary and commitment needs.

    3) The core evaluation matrix used to comment on strengths or areas of improvement for the next year.

Excited dig through the folder for additional examples we can use!
