I am so, so saddened by this news. Spencer was such a brilliant and kind person who added so much to our community. A true gentleman. A person I always looked forward to listening to and talking with whenever I got the chance. We will miss him terribly. May he rest in peace.

Spencer was everyone great ambassador for Core Facilities, both in Europe and the United States. To many of us, Spencer was a leader and a pillar of our community, and his absence will be strongly felt around the globe.
