The BioFrontiers Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Research Associate to join our team in the Beckman Center for Light Sheet Microscopy and Data Science. The team is comprised of Professor Amy Palmer, Professor Kristi Anseth, and Dr. Joseph Dragavon. The Research Associate will directly manage two light sheet microscopes (one commercial, one home-build single objective), helping to integrate the new technologies into the research fabric of the University. The two light sheets will cover spatiotemporal resolutions ranging from subcellular components of living cells to macroscopic samples such as embryos, organoids, and tissues. This position offers a unique opportunity to pursue instrumentation development and innovation, as well as develop independent research projects applying advanced microscopy to biological questions.
