    HI Ken and CAN,

     

    Quite the bump! Thank you for the updated numbers.  I will need at minimum 4 individuals to help facilitate the breakout rooms.  Five would be more ideal with about 8 people per focus group.

     

    Agenda for this would be:

    1. Introduction to the study and protocol
    2. Folks will need to agree to participate – if they do not agree it will be assumed that they will leave on their own accord.
    3. Facilitate the polls (see below)
    4. Then breakout into break outs and cover as many questions as possible. The link to the survey is below if folks would like to complete it there as well.

     

    Polling Questions:

     

    @Ken Schoppmann, Since we did not capture all of the demographics a few polls will need to be set up in the zoom session is this something you can help with in the main session before we break out? They are attached to this email and also listed below:

    Focus Group Questions.

    1. How have the recent federal policy or funding changes altered your institution's long‑term financial exposure for maintaining Shared Resources?
    2. What adjustments have your Shared Resources made to remain (or anticipate) with federal changes?
    3. How have federal changes influenced your pricing models, recharge structures, or cost‑recovery strategies for Shared Resources in the past year?
    4. How have Federal changes influenced strategic planning for shared resources-for expanding, consolidating, or restructuring Shared Resources across the institution in the last year?
    5. How has your organization adjusted institutional investment priorities (equipment, staffing, training, digital infrastructure) in the past year?
    6. What communication or guidance has your organization provided investigators, so they understand how federal changes affect proposal development, budgeting, and use of Shared Resources?
    7. How have the recent federal changes impacted your career development and decision to stay in a Shared Research Resource career path?
