ABRF Executive Board and Core Administrators' Network,

Instrument Business Outlook (IBO) is an ABRF media partner who has covered several ABRF Annual Meetings and interviewed speakers for their publication, which is widely read among ABRF Corporate Partners and other commercial instrument groups.

Let me know if anyone is interested in speaking with them about the NSF announcement cited below and I can coordinate the meeting with them.

Hi Ken,

I hope you are well and that this year's conference went well. I missed being there.

I am writing to see if ABRF or any of your members could provide a comment on the NSF's recent announcement that it will not be accepting grant applications for its Major Research Instrumentation Program for its latest submission window (October 15-November 15).

Any information on how this announcement could impact ABRF members would be appreciated, including an interview with you or an ABRF member(s).

IBO will be covering this announcement in our August 4 issue. My deadline is Friday, August 1 at 5 pm (PDT).  I will send you a complimentary PDF copy of the issue when it is published.

If ABRF are unable to comment at this time, any referrals other possible sources for interview would be appreciated.
