In Case You Missed the December DataWorks! Salon
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the December DataWorks! Salon to discuss developing a budget for a data management plan. We would especially like to thank our presenters, Julie Goldman, MLIS, Research Data Services Librarian at Harvard Medical School's Countway Library, and Jonathan Petters, PhD, Assistant Director of Data Management and Curation Services at Virginia Tech, who shared their expertise with us! A special thanks to Russell Poldrack, PhD, Albert Ray Lang, Professor in the Department of Psychology, and Director of the Stanford Center for Open and Reproducible Science, for moderating an excellent discussion.

Data are a fundamental component of the research process. Sharing that data is essential to accelerate and enhance research discoveries-key to supporting our mission of advancing health and welfare by promoting progress in the biological and biomedical sciences.
To address researchers' concerns around openly sharing their data, we launched FASEB DataWorks!, a new initiative that brings the biological and biomedical research communities together to advance human health through data sharing and reuse.
