Announcing the 2022 DataWorks! Prize Winners

We congratulate 11 teams who demonstrate the power of data sharing and reuse practices to advance scientific discovery and human health.

    About the DataWorks! Prize

The DataWorks! Prize, a component of FASEB DataWorks!, is a partnership between FASEB and the National Institutes of Health to incentivize innovative practices and increase community engagement around data sharing and reuse. A panel of NIH officials selected a total of 11 research teams as winners.

With community engagement as a key part of the DataWorks! Prize, FASEB recognized two teams with People's Choice awards based on crowd voting. More than 2,150 votes were cast from the community.

Generalist Repositories Salon Recording and Resources

Thank you to all who attended our February Salon, where we learned about how to use generalist repositories to make your research workflow easier and more accessible. Repositories are an important tool for data management, specifically supporting your research data to be more findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable.

Our panelists representing the seven repositories in the NIH Generalist Repositories Ecosystem Initiative (GREI) gave a step-by-step overview of how to use generalist repositories and provided many helpful resources for those interested in using repositories for data management and sharing.
