ABRF Members,
See below for access to a special course, U.S. Federal R&D Budget 101, available through AAAS through September 30.
Please share this information with other colleagues who may be interested in this timely content.
Thank you.
You may have seen AAAS updates about the proposed OMB grant-making rule that would politicize science funding, along with our call for members to comment on this proposal and engage with their policymakers during the August recess. Our work to demonstrate how and why federal investment in science matters is far from over.
To continue to equip our members and community, we're now sharing The U.S. Federal R&D Budget 101, a course available through the AAAS Learning Hub. It offers a practical overview of how federal research funding is negotiated each year and a look at the historical role it has played in supporting the scientific enterprise.
Access the course
Because this topic is especially timely, the course is open for free to everyone through September 30 before returning to members-only access.
We hope you'll take a look and share this resource with colleagues, students, and others in your networks and at your institution. This August, as scientists and science supporters across the country are speaking up about the value of federal investment in research, we hope this course will be a useful resource in those important conversations.
Thank you for being part of the AAAS community,
