Dear Ken,
Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Advocacy Awards. The 2026 event, held on March 10 at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., was a fantastic celebration of honorees who have advanced our nation's commitment to medical, health, and scientific research.
Special thanks to our benefactors and sponsors.
The program included remarks from Senator Chris Coons (D-DE), Senator Katie Boyd Britt (R-AL) (Edwin C. Whitehead Award for Medical Research Advocacy honorees), and Research!America President and CEO, Mary Woolley (John Edward Porter Legacy Award honoree) as well as two panels featuring our honorees. The first panel focused on building trust in science through dialogue and the second featured a conversation on effective leadership during times of change.
Please view and share this photo album of highlights. A recording of the event will be available soon. It was a pleasure to see everyone face to face!
We invite you to join us throughout the year at our alliance discussions and at our upcoming events.
And watch your inbox – honoree nominations will open in June for the 2027 Advocacy Awards.
Best,
Anne Mandeville
