Researchers from Cornell University, BSCS Science Learning, and the University of Leeds are calling for participants in a large-scale experimental study. The study aims to address concerns that the traditional undergraduate curriculum, with its stress on "unit character" traits caused by a single gene, may leave students with an exaggerated impression of the causal power of genes. For genetics professors worldwide teaching undergraduates during the spring 2024 semester, you and your students can participate in the study and receive $200 USD, or its equivalent, for assisting. If you are interested in joining the study, email Professor Gregory Radickor view the study webpage.
