    ABRF Members,

     

    The NIH Office of Data Sharing asked that we share the invitation for abstracts for their annual Data Sharing Symposium.

     

    Note that Travel Awards may be available for abstracts received by August 3.

    Poster and Demo:

    Attendees are invited to present a poster describing how data sharing has impacted your cancer research, or to set up a table to demo an innovative data sharing product. Please complete the abstract submission form below; a confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission.

    Full abstracts will be distributed to participants ahead of the meeting. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information. 

    Abstract Submission Deadline: Tuesday, September 1, 2026

    Poster presentations will take place on November 5th 12:00–1:00 p.m. and November 6th 12:00-1:30 p.m. E.T. 

    Poster Abstract Submissions:    

    • Submit early! A limited number of poster travel awards may be available. Eligibility deadline: Aug 3, 2026
    • Posters that showcase novel, impactful, or other meaningful efforts to increasing FAIR sharing of cancer research data are welcome
    • Posters will be reviewed and accepted on a first-come first-served basis
    • Poster presentations will be in-person only; however abstracts will be shared with all attendees
    • We request that each poster presenter submit a 2-min recording describing your work to be webcast during the meeting

    Demonstration Table Submissions:

    • Groups who would like to showcase innovative cancer-relevant data sharing capabilities or strategies are welcome to apply for a table setup
    • Demonstrations will take place November 5th 2:30-4:00 p.m. and November 6th 12:00-1:30 p.m. E.T.

    Please indicate on the form whether your submission is for a poster or a demo table
