  • 1.  organoid center/core facility? - meet up at ABRF?

    Posted 7 hours ago
    Hello all -

There is some discussion here about what to include in a potential organoid core facility. My own expertise is microscopy (with some cell culture as a postdoc). It seems like setting up an organoid core could combine expertise of what might be in several cores - like cell culture, live (high-end) microscopy imaging, perhaps CRISPR? and high throughput (HCS).

Are other institutions considering this and how to have a collaboration of expertise?

Perhaps those attending the ABRF meeting can gather at lunch one day? or otherwise connect to discuss? Glad to plan an online Zoom event to include those who are not attending the ABRF mtg.

Thanks for your thoughts and feedback!

I would be happy to share my experience setting up the Organoid Research Core at University of Pittsburgh. I will also be presenting at the Organoid session on March 30 at 10:45 .
