    Dear All,

We have a 2013 Perkin Elmer Operetta, High throughput High content imaging system. Until 2023, it was under service contract, I did not have any issue for repairing it. Now, the company said it is past the instrument life and they have moved on. Recently, I had some issues with its objectives not being detected and I am unable to use the system.

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting service done on this system?

    Thank you for your help,

    Murali.

    Hi Murali,

Great question and I am certain I will run into this issue soon myself (Operetta and Opera Phenix). I am considering reaching out to Specialty Underwriters (Rob Salmon, specifically) to see what they do once a company like Revvity has moved on from older instrumentation.

I'll let you know what I learn, but I would like to hear from others as well.

    Best,

    Joe

    Hi Joe,

For now, I contacted the only person working on the Operetta in Revivty and have him on my speed dial.

If you have any further information please do share with me too.

    Thank you,

    Murali.
