Hi Julie,
It kind of depends on how much and what types of equipment you intend to resell, and of course, there's the "internal red tape" that you also may have to deal with.
I have bought and sold equipment through "ALT" or "Americanlaboratorytrading.com". When I sold to them, they wanted an equipment list (make/model) as well as one photo of each item. They didn't ask many questions about condition of equipment. They then put together a quote. After the paperwork is completed, they will arrange for a shipping company to show up, box up the items, and ship everything.
There are some caveats. They won't come for a single piece of equipment. And there is a minimum value (maybe $5,000) of equipment to make it worth their while.
We didn't get the "best price" for our equipment, but we were looking to get rid of equipment that was taking up lab space and didn't want to toss it into a dumpster. I would certainly work with them again. The main issue is that I need enough equipment to sell. I know there are other, similar companies out there, too.
I hope that helps.

Subject: Recommended Equipment Resellers?
Hi ABRFers,
We are looking for recommendations regarding scientific equipment resellers as we have some equipment we'd like to part ways with. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Best wishes,
Julie
