Dear ABRF Colleagues –
We have a campus space committee that oversees allocation of all space and associated issues but our process around allocation and management of research space is not working and needs improvement.
We are developing a dedicated research space committee that will serve as a consulting body to the overall space committee to help inform and guide decision making on the allocation, use, and equipment issues for faculty research spaces. As we develop policies/procedures for this research space committee, we would benefit from learning how other institutions carry out this process.
We understand that all universities share these challenges and would like to learn from others' successes and challenges.
