    Hello everyone,

    I'm new to the service side of research support and would greatly appreciate your insights.

    We're in the early stages of establishing a core facility focused on specialized NGS library preparation services. While our primary emphasis will be on preparing libraries with challenging samples, particularly those with low-quantity and low-quality, we will serve all other sample types and applications.

    As we build out our service offerings, I'm seeking guidance on:

    • How best to structure and list available services

    • Approaches to setting pricing tiers for academic vs. non-academic clients

    • Any templates, examples, or best practices you're willing to share

    I know many of you have extensive experience running or working with similar facilities, and your advice would be incredibly valuable as I take it forward. I'm happy to provide more details if necessary.
