What systems are people using in their service systems for billing/invoicing, financial reporting, etc.   i.e. SAP? iLabs?

Here at CU Boulder we use Stratocore. We are very happy with it and their support.

Here at URMC we also use Stracore for over 10 year.  Like Joe we are pleased with the system and ongoing support.

JHU uses iLab. I have managed to bend it to my will for most purposes.

Here at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute we have been using iLabs for 11 years. The only unfortunate thing is that they got rid of the "time tracking module" (we bill based on actual time of instrument usage, not by reservation). When they did that , we got that module from Calpendo, and we are able to upload the data to iLab very smoothly....so, it has been working for us nicely. I am also happy with iLabs support: we have a dedicated "support person" and we meet every quarter (or more often if needed). We also have full integration and iLab host the system for us, so it gets expensive but overall we are pleased with them.

    Hi Nicole,

At UNC we are using iLab for billing and some reporting, but we pull most of our data into a tableau report for broader campus dissemination.

Also, i wanted to let you know there is a group that looks at Lab operations management systems and we are starting a monthly series on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 4PM EST. Here is the zoom link, it will be the same for the whole series.

So far we have only scheduled topics for the first two:

June 3rd: iLab institutional trainings (Arizona/UNC will present what they have done)

July 1st: iLab vision and prioritization presentation from iLab leadership

August 5th: Institutional reviews on Stratacore (Cincinnati Childrens/University of Rochester)

NeuroTools switched everything over to Salesforce this year and it's been a game changer. Very customizable and access to data is endless
