Maximize Core Resources: 10x Innovations, Data Quality, Workflow Flexibility and Continued Support
Building a complete understanding of the vast complexities of biology, from single cells to tissues and beyond, requires multiomic approaches enabled by advancing technology. At 10x Genomics, we provide single cell, spatial, and in situ technologies that fuel scientific discoveries and drive exponential progress. So far, a key limitation of single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) has been compatibility with fixed samples, including FFPE tissue. While FFPE fixation is the most ubiquitous method for long-term tissue preservation, the resulting fragmented genetic material has long presented significant challenges to NGS analysis. The new 10x Genomics Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression Flex assay is a probe-based solution that enables scRNA-seq from fixed samples. This assay provides our most sensitive scRNA-seq, as well as logistical ease-not only for sample collection but for batched sample processing as well. In addition to these advancements in single cell analysis, the Visium Spatial platform maps the whole transcriptome within tissue context, and the Xenium In Situ platform enables high-performance subcellular in situ. In this session, we will delve into these latest innovations, how the three platforms complement one another, and how they are unlocking constraints and expanding possibilities within core facilities.
Speaker: Angela Churchill, PhD, Product Marketing Manager, 10X Genomics
