Just One Week Left to Apply for FASEB's DEAI Programs!

Are family care burdens hindering your career advancement? Are you interested in taking part in a reverse mentoring program? FASEB's new Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion programs may assist you.

Designed to support those from historically excluded communities, our new DEAI programs strive to help you navigate institutional barriers and build a scientific workforce that more fully reflects our increasingly diverse nation:

    • FASEB CARES (Career Advancement and Research Excellence Support) helps alleviate financial burdens associated with caregiving, enabling you to continue your scientific training, professional development, and career progression. Ten awards of $5,000 each will be granted.
    • FASEB LEAD (Leadership Engagement and Appreciation of Differences) pairs senior-level professionals with junior-level mentors so they can gain different perspectives of individual, group, and broader cultural views within the workplace and scientific research communities.

To take advantage of these programs, you must be a member of a FASEB Full Member society and submit an application online. Applications are due August 31, 2022. Not a member of a FASEB society? Find a member society in your area of expertise and join today!
