Want to practice creating an optimal data management plan (DMP)? The DataWorks! DMP Challenge is your opportunity to learn about data management plans, receive expert feedback, and win prizes.
Data management plans (DMPs) play an integral role in ensuring that data is collected, organized, stored, and shared responsibly. The DMP Challenge is an opportunity to practice creating a DMP that aligns with the 2023 NIH Data Management and Sharing Plan (NOT-OD-21-013).
As part of this challenge, FASEB will award up to ten awards, each of which includes a prize of $500. You can also win an additional $500 award if you collaborate with a librarian on your DMP. To learn more and submit an entry, visit here.
Submissions are due by 11:59 pm ET on October 21.
Data are a fundamental component of the research process. Sharing that data is essential to accelerate and enhance research discoveries-key to supporting our mission of advancing health and welfare by promoting progress in the biological and biomedical sciences.
To address researchers' concerns around openly sharing their data, we launched FASEB DataWorks!, a new initiative that brings the biological and biomedical research communities together to advance human health through data sharing and reuse.
