    Hello All,

I am Sharad Shrestha, Director of Research & Innovation at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC) in Fort Worth, TX. I oversee 5 resource facilities (Genomics, Flow Cytometry, Microscopy, Histology, and Pre-clinical Imaging) here at HSC. We have been strategically building our Core Facilities for the past 5 years pretty much from scratch. Our newest addition is Pre-clinical Imaging Core equipped with MRI, PET, CT, SPECT, and optical imaging modalities.

We are taking an approach to showcase our facility by organizing a Pre-clinical Imaging Symposium on March 17th. Aside from featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, and poster presentations, we will have regular demos in the facility. This event celebrates the major investment HSC has made in Pre-clinical imaging that brings these state-of-the-art technologies to research scientists in North Texas. I would like to invite you to join us for the Symposium in person (if you are around the DFW metroplex) or via Zoom. Registration is free.

Hoping this will be of interest to some of you and opens the opportunity for discussion/collaboration around Pre-clinical Imaging Cores.

    Thank you,
    SharadHSC Research Core Labs
