Hi there,

   For core programs that have all-staff meetups, what are some useful topics that have been covered as a group? Do you implement any sort of business skills type training, goal setting (like SMART), or professional development topics? Would love to hear what everyone does that is constructive and beneficial across cores. Thanks! 

We have a core staff run group called "Core Exchange" that aims to bring core staff together for networking, technical talks, and professional development. (Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center are separate entities, but we share a campus and our cores serve both institutions, hence the structure here.) You can see some of our programming here. We aim for 3-4 events per year. We also wrote a JBT article about it!
