  • 1.  Incucyte/CellCyte live cell imagers

    Hi Core Leaders!

For those of you who have an Incucyte/CellCyte/other live cell imager available for reservation and use by users, quick question(s):

What unit do you charge by? (Hour, day...?) How long are typical imaging experiments? Do they run as long as a week, multiple days, or would 8-hour blocks for overnight imaging probably be sufficient?

    Thanks!

    Jenn

    Hi Jennifer,

Our Chemical Genomics core has an Incucyte which they charge by the hour, and experiments run anywhere from a few hours to a week or more. About half the experiments run 24 hours or less. About 10% run a week, and sometimes even longer.
