    Morning everyone,
This will be my first ABRF attendance. I run a Translational Science/ Genomics core at MUSC, Charleston, SC (Cancer Center). We provide all types of NGS services as well as Spatial.
Please let me know if there are groups that I can meet at the meeting or discussion that I can join.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

    Thank you,

Mrinmoyee- I excited that you will join us at the ABRF annual meeting this year. You will be happy to know there are a large number of attendees that have overlapping expertise and professional interests (NGS, spatial, transnational genomics).  We do have a genomics research group within the organization and they will have members in attendance. When you grab your ABRF badge at registration be sure to add the little flags that say "genomics", "first time attendee" and any others that seem relevant or fun. This will help people spot you for engagement as a new attendee and understand your field(s) of interest. Ill be in attendance the whole meeting and will look to introduce myself to you. Looking forward to a great meeting together!

    Hi Mrinmoyee and Barbara,

This will be my first ABRF Congress as well, and I'm really looking forward to it. I'll be traveling from Italy and am excited to finally meet you all in person.

Thanks, Barbara, for the information - I'm sure it'll be a great experience.

    Best,

Welcome Sabrina, Veronica, Mrinmoyee and all other first timers. You will get the most out of this meeting by networking actively. While there are lots of sessions to go to and learn, the best part is the lifelong friendships you will make. ABRF folks are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to meeting you all soon.

    Hello everyone,

My name is Tabish Hussain, and I am a Research Investigator at the Advanced Technology Genomics Core at MD Anderson Cancer Center. My work focuses on next-generation sequencing technologies, including both Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms, where I support diverse projects ranging from bulk and single-cell transcriptomics to long-read sequencing applications.
With a background in oncology and molecular biology, I am particularly interested in translating genomic and epigenomic insights into meaningful biological and clinical outcomes. I also have experience in assay development, multi-omics integration, and collaborative research across interdisciplinary teams.
This is my first time attending ABRF, and I'm truly excited to be here and become part of this community. I look forward to learning from all of you, sharing experiences, and contributing to advancements in genomics technologies and core facility best practices.
    See you all soon!
