I am Associate Director of the Van Andel Institute (Grand Rapids, MI) Core Technologies and Services program, a program comprised of nine cores that support internal and external research. I have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Diego (2011), and began working in shared research resources in 2014. I immediately joined ABRF after shifting into shared research resources, participating in my first chapter event in the fall of 2014, the joint MWACD/SEASR meeting in Nashville, TN. I am currently the Immediate Past-President of Midwest Association of Core Directors (MWACD) and Co-Chair of the ABRF Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council.
