Director, Research Cores Administration at University of Maryland School of Medicine
In collaboration with senior leadership, directs the daily operation of and the strategic planning for the Center for Innovative Biomedical Resources (Scientific Core Facilities/Shared Research Infrastructure).
Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration/ COO, he also supports the Dean’s Office on a range of other projects.
•Expertise in the regulations and cost accounting guiding the establishment and operation of scientific core facilities supporting sponsored research including animal facilities
•Project and operations management with an emphasis on “Lean Management” and “Change Management”
•Academic, research and financial administration
•Institutional and business information planning and reporting
•Policy development and compliance
•Marketing and communications including design, management and assessment of web and e-media campaigns
•Public speaking, teaching and staff development
