I am Director of Core Facilities and Shared Instrumentation. My role brings me into engagements with a broad section of both internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include, but not limited to faculty, students, staff, middle and upper administration. I work closely with departments, colleges and institutes in advancing their research infrastructure needs. I engage external stakeholders. These include, but not limited to - other Universities in this region, industry, non-profits and funding agencies. My role touches a wide base of University contacts and as a result, there is need to deepen my understanding of the interdependencies of all stakeholders critical to the success of CU. My role is by nature collaborative. An intentional approach in network building with other leaders on campus as well as key personnel at the city and state legislature is a necessary in crafting systematic strategies in executing my responsibilities.
